Typically, Aurora Hunters from my part of North America will see the northern lights in the distance. But on May 10th, 2024, I looked up and saw this auroral curtain. I had never seen a view of the aurora like this before, and captured it as soon as I could.
This is the sort of view you would expect from a trip towards the Arctic Circle (or Anarctic Circle for those of you dwelling in the southern hemisphere!). But during this major geomagnetic storm, this level of Aurora came to us. Taken in Lambdon Shores, Ontario, CA.
