A little about me...

I started doing photography in 2017, following in my grandfather’s huge footsteps. James Robinson, my grandfather, was a professional photographer in the deep south. He established Robinson Studios, which is still doing photography to this day. My grandfather passed away well before I discovered my passion for photography in 2017. My work is my grandfather's legacy.

As an amateur astronomer, I am always fascinated with the beautiful night sky. Before taking formal photography instruction, I learned to use a camera to capture night sky objects such as the Milky Way or the Great Nebula in Orion.

I learned the basics of photography from Mark Hemmings, who continues to inspire me long after having finished his online courses (which I highly recommend for aspiring photographers who don't have time to attend an in-person class!) I immediately began applying my photography skills towards capturing nightscapes. When it gets cloudy, I go birding and do my best to capture them in action.

This site is dedicated to the memory of Raquel Sanchez, who had a passion for creating web sites for her clients. She created this site to start me on the journey of entrepreneurship, and I will forever be grateful. We lost her in October of 2024, only 3 days before her birthday. She will be missed. This online store is a part of her legacy as well.
